Tj started with “Al Hurricane, Tiny Morrie, Baby Gaby” band at 13 years old at 18 years old and went on the road with a band called “Zozobra”. When he left “Zozobra”, he joined a band called “Wind & Silver”. After that, he played with various bay area bands. He then came back home and joined a band called “Fat City”. The next band he joined was a band called “Sassy Jones”. Tj then went on to form a band called “Motion Picture”. After that, he went on to play the Las Vegas strip with a band called “Santa Fe”. He finally came back to town and finished up with a band called “Saxy”. Tj left a lot out but this gives you an idea of who Tj is and where he has been as a musician. Tj played 30 consecutive years full time.

“The Reverend TJ Smith” has been a born-again believer in Jesus Christ since November of 1981. He was married to Mrs. Adele Smith in 1982, who gave him a son Thomas Jr. in 1987. The Reverend graduated from Victory Bible college in 1995 and Ms. Adele followed in 1997. TJ was ordained in 2003 by the Reverend D. E. McElroy of World Christianship Ministries. Rev. T J’s mission from the beginning was always about helping one person at a time. Signs, wonders, and miracles have followed his and Adele’s lives for several years, to the Glory of God. His passion to teach people to walk in the power of God has never diminished!
